We at GBS Design Group had a vision that we wanted to bring to the UK an extraordinary high level of service, knowledge and expertise to the interior design, refurbish and detailing industry.
Having been first involved with Aviation from a Military background with the US Navy, I gained the tools and insight in how best to manage the assets available and maximize its potential. Flying tactical Fighters teaches you a lot about what is possible and to accept nothing less than the very best from yourself and those around you.
 
 I took that knowledge with me and spent the next 20 years flying Executive Jets including the Gulfstream and BBJ Series of aircraft. Having been involved in the Outfitting, Refurbishment and paint process of a significant amount of Gulfstream and BBJ Aircraft there comes a time when you become an expert yourself and the realization that there is a better way to do things. So after 20 years of Managing, Flying, and overseeing the completion of aircraft it was time for my dream to be realized and step outside a cockpit and bring a first class Company with American know how, products and service to the UK market.
What sets us apart from the rest of the herd is that from day one I decided that all the products we would use would be as “Green” as possible with a low carbon footprint. That all our products would only be Aircraft grade fully approved by OEM’s and in full accordance with Maintenance manual procedures. In Fact, GBS Design Group uses no automotive products what so ever. We are fully vetted to the highest standard meeting all Heath and Safety guidelines for the EU and the UK.
My personal vision was to bring a philosophy that family matters and I consider all of our employees and customers as part of the GBS Family. GBS itself is named after my son, Brandon Sichlinger and it is for him that I endeavour to bring the very best I can from myself and hope that philosophy transfers to the level of service we provide our many customers.
I will have to answer to my son one day, so I hope I leave him something a bit better than when I found it. I also believe that “Nothing can bring your peace but the triumph of principles” (RWE)
